With a roar of our Compton organ and an explosion of coloured lights the Stockport Plaza has roared back into life after 9 intensive months of delicate and careful restoration and refurbishment, returning the Plaza to her original 1932 Art Deco glory. From the facade with it faience tiles and neon embellishments, the beautifully restored auditorium with it gold and silver decorative plaster and the magnificent cafe lounge open daily Monday to Saturday for light lunches and the finest afternoon teas the Plaza is once again a wonderful example of 30’s Art Deco Oppulence. Radio City has nothing on this place, keep checking the events listings for the Plazas’ up and coming 40’s shows & events.
